Remarkable sights, excellent food and rich culture are not constrained only to our European neighbors, the United States of America can provide just as much getaway activities as any European country. 1.      Alabama- Civil War history is prevalent in this state. There are several different tourist spots, including the Confederacy White House.

2.      Alaska- Denali National Park is the perfect spot for viewing the tallest mountain in the United States, Mt. McKinley, and for seeing Alaska's wildlife.

3.      Arizona- What else can you do in Arizona but visit the breathtaking Grand Canyon.

4.      Arkansas- The Whole family can take advantage of trying their luck at the Arkansas Diamond Mine and if that doesn't pan out there is always the onsite water park.

5.      California- Redwood forests are old, huge, and breathtaking, definitely worth a  visit.
